General Booking Conditions
The terms and conditions set forth below regulate the access and use of the URL address www.elautenticocabodegata.com (hereinafter, the “Website”), owned by ELAUTENTICOCABODEGATA.COM with registered address at C/ Faro 2, 04118, San José, Almería (Spain) and Spanish Tax ID no. B-04921573. All houses and apartments displayed are private properties that are registered in the Andalusian Regional Government's Tourist Property Database (Viviendas con Fines Turísticos, VFT). These properties are rented through legally-established agencies in order to ensure a professional and satisfactory experience for owners and guests alike.
If a property is pet-friendly, this will be specified in its list of services. Tenants should bring a bed or blanket for their pet and be sure to ventilate the house regularly, Owners must not, under any circumstances, allow their pets to do their business in the house's garden (if it has one). Neither are pets allowed to swim in the private pool (if the property has one). Pets are forbidden from entering the communal areas (swimming pool, gardens, etc.), and local regulations must be respected at all times (access to the beach, wearing a lead, etc.).
100% of the reservation at any time until the day of check in. The payment will be made through our payment gateway or by phone.
Check-in and check-out
The check-in window is 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Guests must check-out before 11:30 AM.
Please contact us in advance if you wish to arrange an alternative check-in or check-out time. The agency reserves the right to charge an extra night’s stay if the guest does not abide by these established check-in and check-out windows.
The maximum capacity for each property is listed on the website. Under no circumstances may a greater number of people stay in the property, unless this is expressly permitted in advance by El Auténtico Cabo de Gata. If we learn that too many people are staying in the property, the booking may be cancelled and the guests will not be entitled to a refund.
Issues on public holidays or outside of working hours
We cannot guarantee the repair or solution of issues or problems that take place outside of office hours, on Sundays or on public holidays.
Responsibility for the use of facilities
If the property has access to communal areas (swimming pools, children's play areas, etc.) and sporting facilities (tennis courts, football pitches, etc.), the guest is responsible for their use of said facilities. The opening hours and regulations of the community (e.g. swimming pool opening hours) must be respected at all times.
Theft in the accommodation
Although this area is safe, the guest is responsible for ensuring that all windows and doors are properly closed. El Auténtico Cabo de Gata cannot be held responsible for thefts that occur in the properties.
Any issue or problem with regards to the cleanliness of the property must be immediately reported, upon entering the accommodation, to the agency responsible for key handover. If you fail to report it on time, we will not be able to address the issue. Complaints received more than 24 hours after check-in will not be accepted.
Construction works, excessive noise and environmental problems Unexpected construction works may take place around the property from time-to-time. We cannot be held responsible for this. Neither can we be held responsible for noise from neighbours or unforeseen events.
The damage deposit will be paid during check-in. This may range from 100 euros to 300 euros. If, following check-out, the property is not left in a correct state of cleanliness (dishes washed and put away, rubbish taken out), tidiness or if there is damage to the property or household items, some or all of the deposit may not be returned.
This deposit will be returned to the same card used for the initial payment within 1-7 days of check-out.
Damages and breakages
If, due to accident or omission, a damage or breakage takes place in the property, the guest must report this immediately to the corresponding agency. In this case, the agency is El Auténtico Cabo de Gata.
If an issue is noticed upon entering the property, the guest must report this to the member of staff who handled the check-in. These complaints will not be accepted 24 hours after entering the property.
Changes made by the guest
If you wish to make a change to your booking after it has been confirmed, please get in touch with us. We’ll do everything we can to make the requested changes.
Rental cancellation conditions:
The customer will not have to pay any amount in advance.
The reservation can be canceled free of charge up to two weeks before the arrival date.
NOTE: Your cancellation will only be valid if you receive written confirmation from us that confirms that your booking cancellation request has been accepted. When you receive this confirmation, the booking is cancelled!
Cancellation for reasons beyond our control
El Auténtico Cabo de Gata cannot pay any compensation in the event of changes or cancellations in your booking as a result of cases of force majeure or reasons that are beyond our control.
Belongings left at the property
Any belongings left at one of our properties will be kept for 3 months. The guest is responsible for calling us. The company will then send the guest the belonging that they left at the property at a cost.
Acceptance of conditions
All formalised bookings suppose the express acceptance of these General Booking Conditions by the client.
